Recommended Skin Care Regiment
Five Simple Steps to Creating better skin:
1. Cleanse/Exfolliate: Foaming cleanser 2. Toner: Non-alcohol preferred 3. Eye Cream 4. Treatments: Anything you think you might have concerns with, i.e. fine lines, acne, sun spots, use a product that can help treat the problem. 5. Moisturize: Even though a person might be oily, they are preferred for all skin types, as moisturize adds water, not more oils. Also look for items that has an SPF higher than 15, to protect your face from the harmful rays of the sun. All of the above are just advice and or opinon. An Add-on to your Daily Skin Care Regiment:
Even though the weather may seem cloudy or extremely nice and sunny. Sunblock is definately recommended for all skin type, and skin tones. Many people think if they don't get burnt, they don't do any damage to their skin at all. There are two types of UV rays that reach the earths surface (sometimes UVC). UVA rays also known as aging rays, and UVB rays also know as burning rays. The most deadliest is the UVA rays, because sometimes it might take years for your skin to show any signs of mutations (skin cancer). So it is very important to use sunblock with a broad spectrum coverage (covers UVA/UVB rays) Not only will it decrease your chances of skin cancer, but it will also improve your skin from prematurely aging (wrinkles/fine lines/sun spots) Plus, it only takes 30 seconds of your day. We recommend anything over SPF 35 for everyday should do the trick, or if you are going out in the sun for a consecutive time of 30 minutes or more, anything above SPF 50 is great. **These are just opinions and not facts, result vary |
Clean your brushesYou'd be surprise how many people don't clean their makeup brushes. We recommend cleaning your brushes, with actual brush cleanser. Many people will tell you to clean it with baby shampoo, or other cleaners. But would you wash your hair with dishwashing soap? We hope the answer is no, same goes for your brushes. Brush cleaner provides conditioning the hairs without leaving residue, and sanitizes the brushes so that you don't contaminate your skin with bacteria that is left over with baby shampoo. How often should you clean your brushes? As often as you can...the ideal amount is everytime you use it, by doing a quick cleaning. Quick cleaning is spraying your brushes with brush cleaner and wiping with a paper towel. You should deep clean your brushes once every week or 2 weeks. Deep cleaning is using 1 part brush cleaner, and 1 part water in a clean cup, and letting it soak for 5 minutes. After deep cleaning make sure you lay your brushes flat over a counter to dry. |
