Hawaii Makeup & Hairstyling Trial Tips
A Trial Run is seeing your actual makeup & hairstyling look before walking down the aisle or before a special event. We recommend doing one if you don't know what you want, or want to try different things.

Here are some tips when doing a trial run:
                                        • feel free to voice what you like, and what you don't like. This is your chance to really refine how you want to look, and will help your artist understand your style.
                                        • Expect your trial run to run between 90 mins to 120 mins
                                        • Bring your hair accessories: flowers, clips, veil, etc.
                                        • Make sure your hair is clean and dry. If you have curly hair and want to accentuate your curls, please prepare them with your normal product. If you want smooth/loose curls, please straighten your hair before your session
                                        • Bring pictures of makeup & hairstyles you would like to replicate.
                                        • Don't forget your camera :) After all its all about the pictures ;) Make sure to take pictures at least 5 ft away.
                                        • Wear a top that will replicate your gown. If you are wearing a white strapless dress, wear a white strapless top

Hawaii Bridal Makeup & Hairstyling Tips

                                        Tips for your wedding day:

As your artist for your wedding day, we'll be the first vendor you see :) Then comes your florist, photographers, videographers, etc. With all your hard work and planning, you can relax on the day of your wedding and enjoy :)

                                        On your special day:
                                        • Be sure to give yourself enough time to sleep the night before
                                        • If you are going to have alcohol, have no more than 2 glasses/serving. You want to feel your best on your special day.
                                        • Shampoo your hair the night before, without any conditioner.
                                        • Be sure to tell your bridesmaids/family members or any others that will be getting service done, to have their hair shampooed and dried the night before.
                                        • Don't forget to eat :)
                                        • Make sure to have a point person. If you do not have a wedding coordinator to help you with the little things, have one of your bridesmaids help you by answering phone calls, and other things you need to take care of .
                                        • Carry a touch up kit with you: lipstick, lipgloss, blot paper, a little eyelash glue (just incase), and bobby pins.
                                        • Prepare all your items that your photographer need to shoot: Engagement rings, Invitations, Wedding Dress, Bridesmaids Dress, Wedding Shoes, and other items that you would like to have your photographer shoot.
                                        • Allow yourself 30 minutes to dress yourself before heading out the door. This way you don't have to feel rushed.
                                        • Most important thing is to relax and have fun!
